I am a freelance editor from Macaé, Rio de Janeiro, based in Dublin, Ireland.

In 2013, my first short film, CHOQUE - an experimental montage created using archival footage and depicting the brutality of the Brazilian Military Police - was awarded Best Cinematographic Language at the 12th RECINE International Festival of Archival Cinema.

I later graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and completed a one-year academic exchange in filmmaking at Université Paris 8 in France.

In 2018, I began working in Ireland as an assistant editor. My film credits include Evil Dead Rise, the fifth instalment of the Evil Dead franchise created by Sam Raimi and written and directed by Lee Cronin, and Mrs Robinson, directed by Aoife Kelleher - a documentary on the life of Mary Robinson - Ireland’s first female President, pioneering UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and successor to Nelson Mandela as Chair of The Elders.

In television, my recent assembly editor credits include the Sundance Now and AMC+ drama series Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale (written by Susie Conklin and directed by Hannah Quinn and Dathaí Keane), the Irish drama series The Dry Season 2 (written by Nancy Harris and directed by Paddy Breathnach), and The Young Offenders Season 4 (written by Peter Foott and directed by Jamie Jay Johnson).

My documentary work includes Shooting the Mafia, directed by Kim Longinotto (Official Selection: 2018 Sundance Film Festival, 69th Berlin International Film Festival Panorama, 2019 Dublin International Film Festival; Winner of the Audience Award at the 2019 Brussels International Film Festival), and Bojayá: Caught in the Crossfire, directed by Oisín Kearney (2019 Hot Docs Film Festival Selection).

Alongside my work in film and television, I am also a musician and producer. I recorded and mixed SWELTR’s singles Chewing Gum and Known As.
